Rivka Ann Sanders received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine in 1989. In 1990, Dr. Sanders completed her internship at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, followed by completion of a family practice residency at University Hospital, Cincinnati, in 1992.

Dr. Sanders takes the traditional, unhurried approach to the practice of medicine. That is, her examinations are fully comprehensive, starting with carefully listening to and eliciting from her patients all that matters for correct diagnosis and proper treatment. That, in turn, frequently allows for fewer follow-up visits.

Dr. Sanders is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner.
